These are not part of any checklist. Any of them can be added to a standard, deep, or move-in/move-out cleaning for an additional charge. Let us know which ones you would like and we will add them to the cost — there is nothing separate to book.
Before your cleaner arrives
None of this is required, though clear surfaces do get a more thorough cleaning.
- Pick up clutter and personal items from the surfaces you want cleaned
- Cat litter, litter boxes, and animal waste taken care of before the visit — for health and safety reasons your cleaner does not handle these
- Make sure your cleaner can get in and reach every room on the list
- Anything precious or irreplaceable is best tucked away somewhere safe
- If you would like a specific product used in your home, please leave it out for your cleaner

What is not on the list
Short and honest, so there are no surprises on the day.
- Anything out of easy or safe reach. The tops of cabinets and refrigerators, high ceilings, and anything that needs a ladder or heavy lifting are not part of these lists.
- Cat litter, litter boxes, and animal waste. For health and safety reasons these are not handled as part of the service.
- Surfaces covered in personal items. If an area scheduled for cleaning is covered, it may be skipped, and the price is not reduced for areas that could not be reached.
- Anything not on the checklist unless it is arranged before the visit.
- Exterior window glass. The extras cover interior glass. Outside glass is our separate window cleaning service.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a standard, deep, and move-in/move-out cleaning?
A standard cleaning is regular upkeep: dusting, wiping surfaces and appliance fronts, full bathrooms, and floors. A deep cleaning does all of that and adds a degrease pass over fixtures, vents, trim, baseboards, switch plates and doorknobs, plus detailed sink and tub fixtures and grout cleaned within limitations. A move-in/move-out cleaning is the deep cleaning list for an empty home, with the insides of the kitchen and bathroom cabinets included.
Can I add anything to my cleaning?
Yes. Inside the oven, inside the refrigerator, inside kitchen cabinets, interior window glass, and wet-wipe window blinds can be added to any cleaning for an additional charge. Tell us which ones you would like when you book, or add them in the notes on the form.
Are there areas the checklist does not cover?
Yes. These lists cover what can be reached safely and easily on a normal visit. The tops of cabinets and refrigerators, high ceilings, and anything that needs a ladder or heavy lifting are not included, and neither are cat litter, litter boxes, or animal waste.
How should I prepare for a cleaning?
Pick up clutter from the surfaces you want cleaned, tuck anything precious somewhere safe, and make sure your cleaner can get to every room on the list. If you would like a specific product used in your home, please leave it out for your cleaner.
What if something is not right?
Let us know within 24 hours of the cleaning and we will do our best to make it right. That is our Quality Promise, and it is the reason we give this same checklist to you and to your cleaner.
Do you bring your own cleaning supplies?
Yes, your cleaner arrives fully equipped. If you would prefer we use specific products in your home, just let us know when you book and we will accommodate where we can.
