The Short Answer

What is a bulk cleaning?

A bulk cleaning is one dryer vent and/or mini split cleaning project that covers every unit or home in a building, condo association, HOA or neighborhood. Mansfield Services sets the project up, gives you one sign-up link to pass along, reminds everyone, cleans every unit on the days you approve, checks each one off, and bills it the way you choose. Because we clean many units in one trip, everyone gets a lower price per unit.

  • Dryer vent cleaning, mini split cleaning, or both in the same visit
  • Apartments, condos, townhomes, HOAs and neighborhood groups
  • Residents don’t need an account or an app
  • One bill to the manager or association, or we bill each homeowner separately

How It Works

Three steps from start to finish

1

We set it up with you

One short call or form. We load your buildings or homes, the services, the days that work, how many units fit each day, and notes for our crew like gate codes or where the laundry is.

2

Residents pick a day

You pass along one link, and print a notice for each building right from your account. Residents pick an open day from their phone, full days close on their own, and anyone who doesn’t pick is placed by us.

3

We clean and check it off

Our crew works through the list unit by unit and marks each one done. You can see where the project stands at any time, and the bill goes out when it’s finished.

Set It Up Your Way

Four choices, made once per project

Every project is set up around how your property works. Tap an option to see what it means.

Who picks the days?

Let residents choose, or have us do it for you.

  • You send residents one link
  • Each one picks an open day from their phone
  • Booked units and full days lock on their own
  • Send us your unit list, nothing to pass along
  • We place every unit across the days you approve
  • Neighbors are kept together on the same day

Who pays?

One bill for the project, or each homeowner pays their own.

  • One invoice to the manager or association when the project is finished
  • Broken down by building
  • Pay by check, cash or ACH
  • We bill each homeowner separately at the group price
  • Each one gets their own appointment confirmation, reminders and invoice
  • The association never handles money or chases payments

What gets cleaned?

Dryer vents, mini splits, or both in the same visit.

  • Lint cleared from the full vent line
  • Camera inspection to check for buildup
  • Each unit’s next yearly cleaning noted for you
  • Indoor heads cleaned, priced per head
  • Residents tell us how many heads they have when they sign up
  • The more heads, the lower the price per head
  • Both services done in one visit to each unit
  • One sign-up for residents, one day on the calendar
  • Fewer trips into every unit

How many buildings?

One building, a street, or a whole portfolio.

  • Every unit on file, with notes for our crew
  • You choose how many units fit each day
  • A notice and schedule ready to print
  • Several buildings in one project, each with its own days and units
  • A notice to print for each building
  • One invoice, broken down by building

  • No account and no app to download
  • Units already booked are crossed out and full days can’t be picked
  • Residents can get a reminder by email and text the day before
  • Anyone who doesn’t book is placed by us, so no unit is missed

Group Pricing

How much does a bulk cleaning cost?

The more units we clean in one trip, the lower the price per unit. A single dryer vent cleaning is $289, and group projects bring that down to as low as about $120 per vent for larger groups. Mini splits are priced per indoor head: $289 for the first head, $249 each for two, and as low as $150 each for ten. Tell us your unit count and we’ll confirm your details and price before anything is scheduled.

Why It Matters

Shared buildings can’t skip dryer vents

The National Fire Protection Association counts 15,970 U.S. home fires a year involving clothes dryers or washing machines, and failure to clean is the leading cause. Long, shared and rooftop vent runs in condos and apartments clog faster and are hard for residents to reach. A clean line also brings drying times back down, which residents notice right away.

FAQ

Bulk cleaning questions

What is a bulk dryer vent cleaning?

A bulk dryer vent cleaning is one project that covers every unit or home in a building, condo association, HOA or neighborhood. Mansfield Services sets up the project, gives you one sign-up link, sends reminders, cleans every unit on the days you approve, checks each one off, and bills it the way you choose, at a lower price per unit than a single cleaning.

How much work is it for the property manager or HOA?

Very little. You tell us the property, how many units and which days work, then pass along one link. We build the project, run the sign-ups, place anyone who doesn’t pick a day, send reminders, clean every unit and send the bill.

Do residents need an account or an app?

No. Residents use a simple sign-up page on their phone. Booked units and full days lock automatically, so nobody double-books.

What happens to units that never sign up?

When the association or owner pays, we place every unit nobody picked, spread evenly across the project days and keeping neighbors together, so no unit is missed.

Can each homeowner pay for their own cleaning?

Yes. With each household paying, everyone signs up on one group page at the group price and gets their own appointment confirmation, reminders and invoice. The association never handles money.

How is it billed when the association or owner pays?

You get one invoice when the project is finished, broken down by building. Commercial accounts pay by check, cash or ACH.

How much does a bulk cleaning cost?

A single dryer vent cleaning is $289, and group projects bring it down to as low as about $120 per vent for larger groups. Mini splits are priced per indoor head: $289 for the first, $249 each for two, and as low as $150 each for ten. We confirm your details and price before anything is scheduled.

Can you clean mini splits at the same visit?

Yes. A project can include dryer vents, mini splits or both. Residents tell us how many indoor mini split heads they have when they sign up, so the crew arrives ready.

How often should a building’s dryer vents be cleaned?

Once a year for most buildings. Long, shared or rooftop vent runs and heavy laundry use can need it more often. We note each unit’s next yearly cleaning so the building stays on schedule.

What areas do you serve for bulk cleanings?

Chittenden, Lamoille and Franklin Counties in Vermont, including Burlington, South Burlington, Essex, Williston, Colchester, Winooski, Shelburne, Stowe and St. Albans.
